- - A relevant National Diploma in Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineering Technician
- - Computer Literacy: MS Office
- - Code B/EB Driver’s license
- - Communication skills (i.e. speak, read and write) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
- - Switching license up to 66 000 volts.
- - Trade certificate (qualified Electrician)
- - 8 years or more relevant experience post registration
